EcoErf combines an investment in the rural area, sustainable housing and sustainable living. In the Netherlands (and many other parts of the world), people are moving from the rural area's towards the cities. This gives the rural area's a desolated feel with monocultured land abanoded farms. On the other hand there are many people who want to live closer to nature and in a sustainable way. To give the rural area a new impuls and provide a place for sustainable living we have created the EcoErf concept.
The concept is set up by Bart Pijnenburg from Mensenland and Paul Heistein from the OnePlanet foundation. I am assigned as project leader.
